The question of what to do with a loved one’s remains after cremation comes up often. Sometimes families haven’t even thought that far ahead. Before the final decision is made, it would be best to keep a few things in mind. First, realize that if you or someone in your immediate family decides to keep the ashes (cremains) at home, there will come a point later in the future when those who knew and dearly cared for the deceased individual will be fewer and fewer.
